- The fashionable dislike of musicals that comes up every time there's a new flm musical seems especially surreal when directed at Sweeney Todd. LIke the distressing content is that there are _songs_.

- Percolating the LJ Idol entry, but have been too tired to write it yet.

- Fencing tonight.

- Awoken by horrible construction involving the SAWING OF METAL outside my window.

- Watching my Amazon rankings is making me stupider.

That's exactly it. I don't like musicals because people sing their lines. Its just something that never appealed to me when I'm watching film or stage productions. The content of the film isn't the issue, its the busting into song thing.
