Are you going to Columbus? I actually think you may like the Short North and Victorian Village. I miss it's charming Pleasantvillelike nature. :) And just think, you can take advantage of good restaurants at reasonable prices ;)

I genuinely like Brooklyn, and can stomach NYC for work, but there is certainly something to be said for all of the space and nature that I left behind. :(
i went to school in athens, oh and now live in blacklick, east of columbus. i've lived all over the country and this is where i keep coming back. i've decided i can live anywhere as long as i can come back to visit hocking hills in the fall.
