It's an epic HP mannerpunk fanfiction my cowriter and I have been writing for two years. It's focused on a group of six Slytherin friends starting in the 70s and it tries to make sense out of why a group of very smart peopel would side with someone who isn't just evil, but sort of an idiot.
Have you seen the movie commentary? (I think it's the movie commentary.) There's this wonderful bit when they're all reminiscing about the set, and working on the show, and Adam Baldwin talks, quietly, about how he used to just come and sit under this one stairway and the world would just fall away...
I could totally see Nathan Fillion showing up and making out with Adam just because.
(This is because I have a Mal/Jayne thing. Also a Simon/Jayne thing. Also a pretty-much-anyone/Jayne thing.)
Most of what I've found is Nathan/whomever, including one story that's decent but wins mainly for it's summary: "Fuck Fox, we've been cancelled, let's fuck." which is really, like the funniest thing evar. Also, there's apparently an LJ Firefly RPS community, but I'm still waiting to be approved by the moderator. And there's a single, lonesome, angsty bit of Firefly RPS in this year's Yuletide.
I have about 50,000 words of Nathan Fillion/Brandon Routh, Nathan Fillion/Sean Maher based in the world of the Establishment that I've never bothered to finish and post. >_> But I totally agree with the sentiment; if you find the good stuff, I for one will happily take links. ^_^
I haven't seen much to write home about, just stuff that makes me want to find the good stuff, which I suspect may be your languishing fic, that I very much hope to see at some point.
