- It's a rainy spring day out -- in January.

- My hair is long enough to braid.

- I got more Sicily details that pretty much erase my doubts about the financial viability of it, at least when coupled with my impending raise at work.

- Fencing tonight.

- Friends far and near calling and emailing me with little delights because it's Snape's birthday (I've had everything from birthday greetings from India and info on obscure saints from Union Square).

- Patty slept in socks to ward off mosquitos. It worked.

- Bills are paid and errands are being run and although I've had waaaay too little sleep this week, feel both productive and loved Which is good, because the fencing bag on teh subway at rush hour? Generally only produces emnity from the planet.

Does anyone one else find it interesting that Snape shares his birthday with David Bowie?

I have a really weird image of Alan Rickman dancing to the song "Dance Magic Dance" in my head right now. Totally inappropriate but highly amusing.

Thank you! I didn't want to get the standard holiday card thing from VistaPrint, so I played a little. Sadly, we still haven't mailed out 80% of our cards!
