Because fanfiction apparently=porn and the 80,000+ users who list it as an interest may bring revenue to the site but don't, like, actually exist.

I just did an interest search for both sex and fanfiction and got several hundred communities and several hundred individuals, which is a significant number, but not the vast numbers I'd assume. Definitely odd, because they clearly didn't change it for everyone, but it looks like something happened.

Hm. According to this, 277319 LJ users are interested in sex, and 96200 are interested in fanfiction.

That doesn't mean anything--interests searches are limited and don't bring up everyone who has something listed as an interest.
