(no subject)

At the moment, I am editing news for a Korean newspaper's English language edition, puzzling over the latest Yahoo! Fare Alert to drop into my email box, and being floored by how fucking cheap it is to rent an apartment in Sydney.

Happy new year!

*mutter* maybe I should just learn to drive and move to LA *mutter mutter*

You would get the hang of driving in no time. Not that I'm trying to influence you ... just that ... yeah. It's not an obstacle.

Driving can be lots of fun. But don't let anyone you know teach you how, because it's stressful the first few times. Better a stranger so you don't feel bad about yelling. (Or attempting to wreck the car on the overpass like I did)

Yeah, I've always felt that I should just pay someone.

Best of both worlds : Pay one of those ' learn to drive ' schools in NYC, and have someone in the back seat with a camera. RElease it as a indie film straight to DVD. years later it will surface at conventions where your die hard fans will pile into ramada inns to watch it, and buy T-Shirts.

That's like Galaxy Quest without a point.

Without a point? P'shaw! Syndication rights! Fan-tastic DVD sales. A cult following! All of these things add up to enough royalties to help pay the mortage payments on the NYC appt and the house in Sydney.
