Published writer? Published in what? Their local college newspaper?
I am a published writer with a number of magazine credits for various articles but I didn't have my first work of fiction published in an actual book until this year.
Dear Ghod, he's going to be reading his work-in-progress, out loud, in public, before his bag's unpacked. This is why the phrase "slush pile" still gives me the twitchy fits.
