- The shirt is too big. Of course the shirt is too big. I always have a bigger sense of myself than is, in fact, real. Of course, so do all of you, which makes me hate myself a little less. Now, it's workable, but the simple fact is the shoulder seams not being in the right place looks sloppy, and this will drive me bug fuck, so now I have to find another 45 minutes I don't have to go to Macy's and exchange, for, I think a 16. *headdesk*

- Still need to sew buttons

- And I can't find the sports bra I normally use for binding, so that's another 15 minute errand I have NO TIME FOR.

- And I still haven't picked up my dry cleaning for tomorrow.

- Other than that, I AM A BALL OF CHEER.

- I will not bark at someone for being their usual dickish self. I won't. I really won't. OF COURSE WE KNOW THERE'S A FUCKING PARADE ON SUNDAY, IT'S CALLED PRIDE, YOU UPTIGHT LITTLE FREAK. Hey, I feel better now.

- I am resisting the urge to write this election report in LOLCatz grammar.

- I have been poisoned for When I Meet the Wizard from Wicked (which is one of my favorite songs from the show for reasons that it would take paragraphs and paragraphs to go into) due to EVIL THINGS on YouTube. Poisoned.

- Still no letter from Patty yet this week, which sucks. On the other hand, I do get to talk to her online tomorrow. Also, 28 days.

The shirt is too big.q>

I've got two different boys shirts at my place if you want to borrow one however they are white, not blue.

And I can't find the sports bra I normally use for binding

I know people who have cut the legs off of a pair of control top pantyhose to bind their chest. I've got to go and get a pair of hose for myself for tonight (not for binding)and I could pick up a pair for you if you need me to.

Nah, it's cool. And you know I can't bring myself to wear a white shirt tonight.

I'm such a jackass. Good thing I think I'm funny.

I actually meant, that everyone thinks I'm taller/bigger than I am, 'cause I'm loud or arrogant or whatever, but I couldn't get the specifics going on well when I was typing.

It's weird realizing I don't see myself as I am. I never really thought that was the case before.

Which version of "When I meet the DoctorWizard" did you find? And how, exactly, did it poison you?

Also, I sympathize with the 28 days. My girlfriend's been in England for the last six weeks. I'll FINALLY see her tomorrow. Of course, we've been able to talk online a lot more, but it still sucks. You certainly have a lot of patience.

Well, "When I Meet the Wizard" is one of those songs I walk around singing a lot, because it was just made for my voice. But now it a) makes me giggle, b) I've gotten confused on the intervals because of what Barrowman did to it and c) well, I mean.... really. ANYWAY.

Patty and I got together (finally) about 3 weeks before she went on a dig last summer, so this has just always been part of the given circumstances of us, but yeah, it is hard. This time it's in some ways easier, since the relationship isn't new and we're not dealing with the stress of me asking her to move in long distance, but it's also a lot harder in the sense that I've become rather used to sharing my life and our house with her.

Oh, look, PSYCHIC IPOD.

I love John's rendition of that song (especially when he switches it to 'Doctor') mostly because I saw it live, the first time he did it. Amazing concert.

I moved in with Shaina (in a strange city, where I know almost no one) about three weeks before she left. It's not an every year thing, though, so hopefully we won't be doing this again. It's been difficult, and I've come to the conclusion that IM is not an effective means of communication. Not by a long shot.

It'll be nice to see her again on saturday.

What's she traveling for?

Patty's got another dig in Oman, probably for the same amount of time (9 weeks?) in early 2009, but then I should have her home for about 14 months, which will be really really nice.

(and yeah the "Doctor" one is the one I saw -- well heard, the image is crap -- on YouTube).

She's doing a study abroad course in the UK. Which is bad because 1: she's gone, and 2: I really wish I could be there, too. It's London. After that, she'll be home for awhile, (not counting Comic Con (John Barrowman, EEEE!) and Lake Tahoe with my family).

That ComicCon is the weekend Patty comes home, or else I'd be out there as a _guest_ in the frigging green room. I'm trying not to think about it. At least I've got the pretty cool deal of DragonCon.

I'd love to be in the green room. How do you manage that?

The book helps ;), but honestly, I think I got lucky (I sort of pleaded for Dragon*Con and then got asked to be a guest at ComicCon thanks to someone finding me on BookTour.com, but the dates were completely not viable.

Ah. I wrote a trivia book about Harry Potter. This is both sort of really cool (hey, Severus Snape really did change my life!) and vaguely embarrassing to me.

Awesome.

The HP books (and fandom) have shaped my life in so many different ways, I couldn't begin to define it. Not quite the way it did yours, but it's had a huge impact.
