- Getting stuff done, yay! Although in odd order and at odd times.
- I am somewhat absurdly obsessed with Lamb's Gorecki right now even though it is both cliched and old news. Um, I'm working on a Face of Boe FST.
- Daleks in Manhattan. Wow. I don't know what to say about that other than Pig Slave Mutant Dalek Human Hybrid WHUT??!?!? Actually I found Dalek Sek's evolution to be even more revolting/disturbing/comical. And I do have to say it fills me with joy that my city has a place in the mythology of the Whoniverse. Can you tell I'm just burning through these episodes to get to the thing at the end of the season I know about but haven't seen?
- I feel very solid today, after feeling like I was flying apart at the seams for the last couple of weeks and not in a good way. I am also deeply away of how fragile that solidity is. So I've got a certain quiet/heavy thing going on. And really want to be around people, but am really better served by taking a lot of late night walks alone right now. I don't know what I'm processing, but I can tell I am, just not at a particularly conscious level.
- The heat here is insufferable, but there's been lots of strong wind, and it's been making me itch to go flying like crazy which is stupid because I hate flying in summer. Hate hate hate. Because the plane bounces around like crazy and it makes me nauseated as all hell. So in a way I am glad I have this bug that I can't afford in $$ or time right now when I know better than to do it, because it will make me full of hate and pukeyness (pukiness? how would you spell that?). It's probably just a sign that Kali and I should get back to our WWII screenplay (yes, there's a WWII screenplay, and it completly pre-dated current obsessions, I might note! Product of our obsession with Flyboys which no one else saw even though it is WWI slashy goodness and they had a lion!)
- I am still a freak magnet. Today I saw a guy crossing the street with a cat sitting on his head.
- This vid! Oh this vid! It's so why I love this fandom in a I'm a big goddamn sap sort of way. I totally want to have it on my IPod, and while I know how to do that stuff with YouTube this has thwarted me. (So if you can figure it out, let me know. I know I should just be able to downlaod and convert, but when I download it downloads some 15 second ad instead).

Date: 2008-07-20 08:16 pm (UTC)It so captured my brain, I even pitched the idea of a fan trailer contest to a friend of mine who works with Warner Bros, just so I could do it.

Date: 2008-07-25 02:28 am (UTC)But I just wanted to drop you a link to se's journal where you can download a higher-res version. "This is Everything" is one of my favorite vids in the whole world. Also, more of se's vids here, of which I particularly recommend Expectations (Ianto!), I'm a Terrible Person (Owen!), I Will Do These Things (Gwen!), and Set Fire to the Third Bar (Iantooooooooo!).
