The first round of polls is up for LJ Idol.

You do not have to be in the contest to vote. All you have to do is go here:

You can vote for as many people as you want, but remember that we are broken up into 5 separate tribes, meaning that you have to click submit in 5 separate polls. I am in the 5th and last tribe. Other members of the friendslist are spread out through the others. Take a look, vote for stuff.

Tactically speaking, these work just like municipal elections in a ward-less city: each time you vote for someone, you are voting against everyone else on the ballot, so it's a good idea to only vote for people you are really enthusiastic about.
