- I have a cold.
- Patty and I are buying a new bed. Not _the_ bed, but an intermediary bed. I suspect we'll push the button on the order by the end of the week and have it in next week. It will be nice to have a bed that is our bed vs. my bed that she sort of inherited her way into.
- Work. Elections. Economy. CRAZY.
- Man, I am so psyched for tomorrow's car crash of a debate.
- Hey, Kali and I won a Skiffy Award. Because I am overworked and crazed, I can only link you do her post about it right now: http://kalichan.livejournal.com/152287.html
- This month is both Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Celiac Disease Awareness Month. At some point I'll try to process those things and how they intersect with my life. Today, however, is not that day.
- Last night we had dinner with my parents, and I got fascinated by some of the old photos of various ancestors and relatives we have up. Turns out, that one of my great-grandfathers on my mother's side was a tailor back in St. Louis. We have this amazing photo of him from the teens or 20s where he's all thin and sharp with his hair slicked back and I'd never taken a good look at it before, but I have to got to see if I can get my mom to let me borrow it to scan it in for you guys, because it will freak your shit out.
