That the people of the State of California were responsible for it instead - the arbitrariness of it all, after the court decision - is the real knife-twist.
the idea of giving different rights to different people arbitrarily. And it hurts me personally, even though I am mostly straight, to think that people would want to limit others lives like that. I can only hope that as some of these fogeys leave the electorate, they will be replaced with more open minds.
