Indeed. I've read that the person behind Primer did his best to use the most plausible theories about time.

Wow, that is amazingly nifty and wonderful. I'm also amused that the primary critique of the idea of time travel by physicists who don't like the idea is aesthetic - ultimately, they find the idea of a universe where causality is potentially non-directional inelegant. OTOH, I think it's quite nifty. With luck, we'll know if time travel is possible in a decade or two.
