sundries

- Shopping, article writing, other work, laundry -- all before Patty gets back here with her mom.

- It is raining.

- And speaking of articles -- I am doing a piece on the best screen kisses of 2008! I've got some het ones and some gay male ones, but if anyone has any lesbian and/or trans suggestions (the only mainstream trans character I can think of is on Dirty, Sexy, Money but I don't watch it often enough to remember a kiss) I would be grateful. TV or film.

- So ISMAC is waaaay early this year. But the timing sucks. I was hoping it would be close to when WriterCon was, so maybe I could just go to both of those while Patty was visiting family or something. Now it requires actual brain power though. On the other hand, with her being home for over a year this time, taking four days to go hit things with sticks seems less screwy (and she'd be welcome to come hang out, of course, but I think she'd be bored, and Detroit is hardly a tourist destination, now is it?). There are also scoholarships, but I probably won't apply, lacking anyone in a position of authority to testify to my personal code of honor and the fact that I can probably swing the $$. But I should go, yeah? I am finding, I really like our life of travels.

If you need our address ask in comments there or post a link to your own holiday card post of that ilk. Reciprocal carding not necessary.

Two that I can think of off the top of my head:
Bones season 4 ep. 7, near the end. Delicious. Also, leads to a real relationship later in the season. Which is nice.

There's another one in House, although I can not for the life of me remember which episode. I'm sure that any of the numerous House communities on LJ could point you to the episode where Thirteen kisses a girl. Quite well.

Brilliant. Thank you!

On second thought - it might be the episode "Lucky Thirteen" which is episode 5 this season. Not positive, though.

"Lucky Thirteen," that's the one. (House fan here.) In fact, Thirteen is kissing the patient of the week in the beginning of the episode, and a whole 'nother girl at the end of it.

Excellent! I thought someone would know. =)

Not unless you're a survivalist, really.

Heh. I've never been, and I try not to be all Ne York about everything, but it's hard to imagine why one would go there if not for family or work.

Technically there was one on Grey's Anatomy, but I don't watch that, so I can't link...

There was also this: http://www.accesshollywood.com/cannes-2008-penelope-cruzs-girl-kiss_video_254796 Pardon the source, but it was the only video I could find.

Isn't there a trans character on Ugly Betty? I don't watch the show, but I think there is.

Also, there's a young (to me) lesbian couple on All My Children, if you have any daytime tv fans to consult. :)
