It's pre-series Jack/OC. It's tentacle sex, so while the OC is female, that's sort of irrelevant; for fuck's sake, it has tentacles, a lot of tentacles. It's completely ridiculous. If the porn doesn't make you hot (and it is hot!), the sun and sand description factor will at least thaw some of your winter misery. Worth it just for Jack being somewhat unnerved, totally enthusiastic and using a ridiculous endearment in a completely heart-melting way.

I am really not kidding about the tentacles.

No, I don't think it had a Harry Potter element to it. It was Spike being so damn sexy that he brought out the elementary Illyria with his/her many tentacles and psychelic pulsing colors.

I think this fic might be my favorite of his, and I'm not a tentacle porn person as a rule. But it's very sweet, hints at cultural structures I want to know more about and totally _gets_ Jack.

Oddly, you don't even need background knowledge for it. As it captures Jack perfectly, and since it's set pre-show, there sort of is no context.

Appreciate that it can be read without prior knowledge, yet is smoothly informative in just the right places without an awkward 'stop' to explain terms, etc. Very matter of fact and sexy, the sexiest piece I've read in a while. I never thought I'd type anything like this out loud!

Oh, that's lovely. Hot and sweet, and just the right side of weird and strange.
