The ultrasound showed that her kidneys, liver, stomach, gall bladder, and intestines are normal.

The bladder had some minor thickening and contained stones and sand as we know and are treating for.

The bowel, they couldn't tell because it had stool in it, but looked normal.

The doctor is sending the x-rays to the ultrasound people to compare and then getting a radiological consult (can you believe this shit?) and I should know if anything appears there in about 7 days.

For now, Little Kitty is just fine. And my bank account has a week of grace before more potential trauma.

This is all REALLY annoying, but is also relatively good news.

Yes. I'm sorry about your bank account, but very glad to read this all the same.

That's definitely relatively good news. Sand and stones, you can deal with. Mystery illness, not so much.

Calvin had his checkup yesterday; to my astonishment, his vet wants to enlarge his nostrils! I know lots of pugs who have had this done, but he's got through seven years just fine with the nostrils he has! Second opinion time...

Agreed. I'm hoping what looked like intestinal thickening is eventually discovered to be old scar tissue in her fattiness from previous surgeries. That's my hunch, anyway.

Since she's had liver and kidney problems before, I take this as very good news.

...sand?

Glad to hear all is, relatively speaking, well.

can you believe this shit?

As someone whose late cat had a neurologist and a $1600 mri, I totally believe it...

I hope she is okay!

Lots to be happy about... that the kidneys, liver, stomach etc were ok.

Hope Kitty feels better soon!
