McCain, Bush II, Perot, Clinton, and several others I'm forgetting are left-handed, too. There's some sort of freaky thing with the presidents and major presidential candidates of the last 50 years being left-handed much more of the time than one would think given general incidence. And yes, we lefties notice these things more than normal people do. ;)
Same here ... I had a doubletake at the photo that showed him sign something, and I thought "What, that looks weird", because he so totally writes like us - hand all weirdly twisted and somewhat hunched. Fabulous.
Patty had been able to see the inauguration on television in Oman, but hasn't been able to catch any other news since then. She was so happy to hear all the stuff Obama's done since when I gave her the list earlier.
