Wow!

Just to let everyone know, I'm on a very tight deadline for the end of the month while also trying to get the apartment in order for the return of my partner who has been on an archaeological dig for the last three months.

I will get everyone added back, respond to comments, etc., but it's probably going to take a bit of time.

In the meantime, if there's anything you'd like me to know about you or would like to know about me or you're looking for an excuse to chatter amongst yourselves on something other than ConFail, please feel free to use the comments in this post.

I keep running onto you on LJ (and I think I wrote for you in Yuletide once, for which, I apologize profusely.) so I agree with [livejournal.com profile] weds, that friending is must easier than strange quasi-stalking via linkage. I'm mostly harmless.

Welcome! I'm terrible with names. Which Yuletide piece? I've enjoyed all of mine, so don't apologize! (I feel bad, my poor recipients always get typos!)

Uhm. Lemme see. It was one for Elizabeth: The Golden Age. I remember being surprised when I got your request, because until it has come, I didn't even know that were making a sequel to the original! I think I went out and saw it in the theater as soon as I knew.

Oh typos. How I wish we could all avoid them. Well, except for the funny ones. Those can stay.

Your icon, btw is FTW.

Thank you! And I was thrilled to get that. I almost always wind up both reading and writing Riverside for Yuletide, because it's the biggest of my obscure fandoms, so it was a big thrill to get the Elizbeth one. I know most people didn't love it, but the newer film made me so happy. Of course, I'd watch Clive Owen read the bloody phone book, so there is that.

Yeah, Clive Owen is a bit of all right. I don't want to say that I didn't like the second Elizabeth film, but I think there is something stopping me from loving it. It might have been Elizabeth's shiny pants during her Tilbury speech.
