I'm much goofier in person, although when I am severe, I'm sort of even more so than I am here. The big convoluted sentences though? Just that in RL. I really do function in paragraphs.

Also, apparently I'm taller on the Internet.

It's funny that you say that, because my mental image suggests that you're 5'9"-5'10".

Yeah, I'm 5'6" if you squint. Good posture and clever shoes and I can fake 5'7", but no. Patty's an inch taller than me.

No, it's the personality. I stand next to her and feel she's about 4 inches taller, even though the numbers say we're the same.

My impression is that you're petite.

You and me both. ;)

It's true! You are at least 5' 10'' in Internet measure.

That's what I thought at first, because she complained of being short. But she meant actor/model/dancer short!

But she writes as a much taller person.

My navy friend said learning to stand at attention added an inch to her height.

I definitely think of you as much taller. But I think it's because the only images of you I've seen are in The Coat, so you = elided with JB = about 5'10" or so...

OH, and you were about the same height (if not breadth) as Gareth and Kai in your pic with them, so you must be as tall...

I would have guessed 5'8", having seen the coat pics. The coat adds height! :)

Me: 5'10" and I like wearing heels. I always assume I'm going to be the token giantess in any given gathering.

You're my height! I totally pictured you taller. You write taller.

You're much taller on the internet. That's why I wasn't sure if it was you at DragonCon. I was expecting 5'8" or so. :-)

I expected you to be at least 5'10" the first time I came to NYC. Even now, in my head, I think of you as tall. Weird.

I had a bizarre dream we met up at a con happening in an apocalyptic city with burnt orange skies.

Isn't it funny when others assume you're somehow bigger than you are? People are always surprised to find I'm a tiny pipsqueak in reality. I guess I stand on my stacks of words on teh internets like a stepstool and it creates the illusion of height? I don't know. Odd how manner of writing correlates to a person's mental image of you.

Also, in regard to the big, convoluted sentences, I am ever so much more eloquent in writing than I am in speech. The words and ideas just get all bottlenecked in my head when I try to think on my feet. I need to slow down and untangle them before I can articulate them with any sort of eloquence. Or, you know, coherence. I also speak very very quickly and often trip over my words, so I have to slow down because I get physically tangled up, too. :P
