I find it interesting (and ironic, and several shades of annoying) that many of the people all fussed up about the speed with which Obama is(or is not) addressing gay issues are the same ones sabotaging (or supporting the sabotage of) the inclusion of trans folks and/or gender presentation in legislation and other areas while simultaneously telling us we just have to wait our turn. The trickle down theory doesn't feel (or work) any better coming from privileged white gay folks than it did coming from Reagan-era Republicans.
