I've logistics coming out of my ears at the moment. I'm shooting a student film on Sunday and I also just got an email from The Vagina Monologues folks reminding us we'll know about casting by Thursday morning and that if we are cast, we need to be at a rehearsal the same day I'm shooting. They asked me about conflicts at the audition, and I did mention that day, so I don't feel impelled to tell them again until I find out what's what. I'd hate to bail on the student film at all, and especially at the last minute, but it's a very small role and as crazed as I am about film, if I have to choose, The Vagina Monologues is more exposure, even in Hoboken, and definitely really useful work for me to be doing.

Meanwhile, I got a call on my cell from California earlier (which almost made my heart shoot straight up my throat and out my mouth, which is the height of irrationality -- for heaven's sake, I've friends and family out there) from someone who needs an SM for a show they are doing out here at a theater I SM'd something at and the owner/manager recommended me to them. I told them I'd let them know when I knew about this casting.

lordcamiliano you seem busy as sin too, but if you're interested in something that's evenings and weekends for the first three weeks of March, I'll direct them to you, presuming I do get cast and am therefore unable to serve.

AND I'D LIKE MY DAMN CHECKS TO CLEAR.

I'm exhausted just typing all that.

Hmmmmmmm...sounds interesting. At the moment, I'm starting projects that will take up a lot of my spare time in the coming weeks (workshopping a musical, joining an a cappella group, classes, etc.), but if the scheduling works out and it's a paid gig, that's fine.

Send me the info when you get a chance.

As for chillin' out...I'm available tomorrow night and, while I'll be doing stuff on Thursday night (it's a big social night for me weekly), you're welcome to come and hang out.

Gimme a call tomorrow or something and we'll see.
