We're having a glorious time, which has included amazing amounts of great celiac-friendly food, a three-hour whale-watching tour that wound up being four hours due to some wacky weather, some burlesque, about which I have lengthy commentary at another date, and sitting on a kerb in Havard Square listening ot this random German family do strage things to pop songs with an electric violin.

In other news, I have annoying work stuff to deal with when we get home tomorrow night and I've been granted a RIDICULOUS amount of time for my Snape and gender presentation, and I feel really intimated by just how scholarly a setting I'm going to be in. OH, god, you guys!

Tomorrow: the Maparium!

If there's anything I need to see/read link it here (this now includes Torchwood fic and meta. I'm feeling much better).

I don't know you all that well, though what I know so far has me enamoured. Might you explain the reason you feel intimidated by the setting re: Snape & gender? You know, for those of us who have come aboard recently!

I'm glad you're enjoying yourself.
I have no meta but I did try to write some Ianto/Alice fic that I hope you'll enjoy: The silent war

Your story was my main inspiration for writing it.

You were like a block from my apartment today.

My GF wrote a Meta I found interesting and will probably respond to later today or tomorrow.

Glad to hear you are enjoying Boston. I loved living there. I'm looking forward to hearing more about your Snape and gender presentation as well. I've been out of HP for a long, long time, but when I was in it (circa GOF), I was all about Snape.

I can't be so presumptuous as to say you need to read it, but I did write that COE fix-it. It's here. Now that that's out of my system I can look to Jack's next lives a lot more easily!

ah, Boston, my home! I send my love to my fair city, though we be so many miles apart now!

my friend runs a boston celiac webpage with restaurant listings here: http://www.bostonceliac.com/

(if you found other i know he'd love to hear about them!)

I know so many celiac people these days.... two diagnosed this spring alone!

I've been granted a RIDICULOUS amount of time for my Snape and gender presentation, and I feel really intimated by just how scholarly a setting I'm going to be in. OH, god, you guys!

I can come and act unscholarly if it helps. :)
