I don't want to steal her thunder, but I recorded vocals for the last line of the concertigrossi FoB fic, so if you want to hear me singing creepily, keep an eye on her journal. I knew I'd nailed it when I listened to the playback and it didn't sound like me. At all. Best, most cathartic thing I've done in fandom in months.

Duchess Clothier will be in NYC on August 23rd. Which means I should have my new suit then (also, since Patty should be back home then, hopefully I can get her to come out to Veloce with me). YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. Also, people in San Francisco, they'll be heading out there soon too, although there are no firm dates yet. Also, picking up the suit in person.... super, super great, as I was having a thing about the pinstripes and the big giant box due to recent fandom events.

The anonymous asshole who has spammed this post with seven comments, mostly in characters I can't read but with English words like "cake cutting" and "wedding dress" thrown in, needs to know it the fuck off. (I have now given up on deleting what seems to be an endless stream of shit).

Thank you. I'm really weird about singing, in that it's really important to me, but I've a lot of hangups about it, and a voice that's often more interesting than useful, so it's a testament to something that I'm letting this on the Internet without random anxiety.

I've been trying to finish And the Ass Saw the Angel for forever but because I tend to empathize with the characters I read, I find myself falling far to easily into Euchrid's very frightening mindset.

I can only read a chapter or two at a time before I have to put it down and do something happy and distracting.

This is also why I love it. ;)
