quickie update

The suit and shirts are really fabulous. I had somehow forgotten that I ordered the brick colored shirt. And yeah, I had a moment, but I was there for a fitting, so there wasn't much of a moment, just put it on and then it's mine. It's utterly fabulous on me. And outrageous and hip in a way I totally didn't expect. I got a couple of snaps, but it's so hot here and it's the first day of my period and between the two I was neither looking my best nor was my silhouette totally conforming to the suit, so pictures that I post will probably wait until D*C.

Also, the tux, after much consternation, is ordered. That was _hard_. You also don't want to know how much I just spent. I'm crazy excited though.

Now I'm in my undies finishing up this major report I've been working on. Eventhough I'm tired and in pain.

Oh and such_heights joined us! It was brilliant.

Yep. She's visiting, which I found out about at the last minute and told her to come for suits and drinks, which was, admittedly, odd.

I just want you to know that I LOVE living vicariously through this suit thing. I could never look remotely good in a men's suit, and so when you post pics, I kind of squee with jealousy.

I'm also finding myself wanting to have a suit of my own, but I'm so freaking tiny, with a big butt and big tits that I just worry... although I do need to ask my Drag King friend where she gets her clothes for her shows.

As long as your shoulders are a good ratio to your hip, or you can get your tailor to design your clothes to make it appear such (as mine are not), the rest of it can be worked with easier than you think.
