I've heard it from MIdwesterners too, but to me it's the broken English of Italian immigrants, since that's where I get it from (i.e., my father's family). I would never say it in formal circumstances, but we're all familiar here on the Internets.
Awww, I like your floppy hair! But it is hard to ever go back once you've gone really short, isn't it? I try every once in a while to let mine grow out, but it's futile.
It's mostly the back of it that drives me insane. I don't mind that curl in the front, but it's too big and making a full circle now.
this (http://www.canali.it/gestione/immagini/foto_prodotti/sartoriale_1p.jpg) (now the right pic) is what's going with me when I do have time to get it cut, since no one ever understands "men's haircut, DO NOT MAKE THE TOP TOO SHORT."
Oooh, I like that too! I would love to go even shorter than I am now, but I have this huge round pumpkin head and need a bit of length and a lot of layers to balance it out.

Date: 2009-10-21 05:51 pm (UTC)" it needs cut"! this is a Midwesternism (I thought so, anyway) that I have never understood this! Explain, please!
