I did. Back in '90/'91. This makes me really sad. I have such mixed feelings about a world where we don't "need" LGBTQ bookstores.

I know what you mean. I miss the kind of community space that comes with LGBTQ bookstores. The two shelves dedicated to LGBTQ books at B&N on Union Square felt woefully inadequate when I went there the other day. But I was also glad to see things stocked there.
