The shoes are just plain olf character shoes, but are my heels of choice for NYC because they are badded and the heel is attached to the show with STEEL, which means they are indestructible.

Many years ago I just couldn't find decent dress shoes in my size. So I bought character shoes.
Tough, plain yet classy, and they come in a 12!
While my selection has improved since then, I still love my steel shank shoes!

Sorry to be clueless here, what are "character shoes" and what is "badded"?
(Totally understand the heel and steel part, thankfully, ROFL)
Are they comfortable to wear? My feet cringe just looking at them. :)
