The picture doesn't really capture how I see me, in the sense that may main reaction to it other than "thank god for an awesome photographer" is "wow, I don't look like a drag queen, we knew" but I'm really pleased that I look strong in my way in it.
Yes, strong is the first word that came to mind, but it's more than that, it's the composition, with the subway and the dancing and the "New York-ness" of it all. It's also your posture and the fact that (as you say in a comment below) you are leading while your partner is merely standing there.
I'm not sure if you remember, but I was in NYC for the first time in November and I've had a hard time being back and describing my experience with the city, almost to the point of not sharing with anyone because how could they possibly get it? This picture describes it perfectly without words. THAT'S the way I feel.
