One of my brothers has a graduate degree in urban planning, has worked at a small but very busy firm in Portland, OR since the late '90s, and has a ton of experience planning, pitching and supervising small to midscale projects up and down the West Coast and a bit in the Southwest.
I dunno if you know her -- and if not, you SHOULD -- but bronxelf_ag001 is an architect and a designer with degrees from FIT. She's also local to you in NYC.
