  • Nervously wondering if my flight will make it out today. The weather looks TERRIBLE, the news is hysterical, but the airport impact map still puts everything at NYC at "moderate." There's been no changes to my flight yet and average departure delays at JFK are only running about 30 minutes as of this writing.

  • Equal marriage rights progress in Maryland.

  • "A Pennsylvania appellate court ruled that a parent’s same-sex relationship cannot be used against the parent in determining child custody, in a rejection of a 25-year-old state legal precedent."

  • "A new political action committee intends to defeat New York state senators who voted against the marriage equality bill late last year... the PAC, called Fight Back New York, is ready to raise and spend in the high six figures in state senate races this year. Its first target will be Hiram Monserrate, who was expelled from office recently because of a misdemeanor assault charge against his girlfriend, but wants to reclaim his seat in a special election next month."
