  • Angel 1.4:

That stalker episode was okay, except it was really gross and full of bad special effects.

  • Buffy 4.4:

Seemed like a stupid episode, then got awesome, then had the best exchange EVER --

Giles: Don't taunt the fear demon
Xander: Why, can it hurt me?
    Giles: No. It's tacky!

  • Buffy 4.5:

Beer Bad. This episode should suck. It is so heavy handed, and yet....

    1. Giles: "Actually, it was the early '70s, and you should know better."
    2. Buffy, omg, don't have a gang bang with the College Republicans
    3. Willow, you tell Parker!
    4. Wait, is that Kal Penn? (yes, yes it is).
    5. Are the Neanderthals having sex in the SUV that looks like the Torchwood SUV? Because I think they are.

  • White Collar 1.12:

Not the best episode to show Patty -- not high on the flirty and no El or June. But I loved the wine. I loved that it was clearly something Neal cared about, and I loved Peter actually proving to be competent enough to fake it. I'm trusting Moz less and Peter more. I think Neal is trusting Peter even more; not getting the risk of Moz though.

  • JB on Desperate Housewives:

    I didn't watch. It's on Hulu right?

  • Inappropriate text message is inappropriate (from [livejournal.com profile] ladyofthelog): "Gareth/John mpreg marriage of convenience w/ reception at waffle house. it could happen."

(the terrifying result of a wide-ranging "things that happen in fanfiction that kinda weird us out" discussion).

  • Whoniverse random:

Cricket is playing with my 'Vote Saxon' pin.

    So uh, I'm officiating, right?

I found Beer Bad to be awfully anvillicious, yet horribly entertaining. I think I remember hearing that they made it trying to get some grant money for some anti-drug/alcohol cause or something, but didn't get it after all.

And yeah, Willow telling off Parker was awesome. The whole Parker subplot made me cringe, because it was so true to life in many ways.

Amen, amen. And yeah, they were offered all kind of money for doing the episode, but in the end they never saw a dime because, and get this, it wasn't anvilicious enough. Seriously. Guess they didn't like that the lesson was "Foamy!" xD

"Waffle on two, out like one. The grooms may now kiss."

And Desperate Housewives was mostly disappointing on account of not enough of the Barrow-man. But it looks like he'll be back next week to wreak MOAR HAVOC.

He has a moment, and it was properly scary, and I liked it very much.

    Bring moar havoc, Barrow-man.

I was just telling someone about the 'actual size' joke on Friday.

My brain is a bad, bad place.

I also love Willow telling Parker off. And the end of that episode.

I can't stand BTVS, but Angel gets a lot better as it goes along. Less cheesy, more funny, more dark and freaky. Season 3 has a really fucked-up subplot which might be my favorite sub in the whole series. I can't wait til you get there.

I saw about half of the JB episode last night - not sure the glimpses of him are worth putting up with the rest of the show.

But he does play a bad boy who I think murdered someone during the episode....

Buffy 4.4 led to the best action figure EVER - Giles with chainsaw and sombrero. It's about $100 to snag one anymore, of course, which makes me sad because my librarian action figure must forever remain incomplete.

Do you think Moz is not trustworthy? I view him as pretty innocuous.

I think no one is what they seem, and in the case odf Moz, all we have is Neal's (generally shitastic about the people he loves) judgment to go on.
