Right, because I KNEW if I just sat on the hotel thing long enough some RIDICULOUS deal would show up on Orbitz. So I can have a stupid budget hotel misery, or I can stay at a five star hotel in Canary Wharf for the same price. Ha. Fuckers.

My other night in London remains, for now, far less glamorous or absurd. (In fact, I've booked none of my other hotel stuff yet other than this first night in London, because I'm still dithering about stupid things).

Did you know you can also upgrade on virgin to the next class for very cheap if you do it online 6 hours before your flight? YOU CAN shhh!! :)

I am gonna try to snag first class for my trip next week for a just 110 extra!
When you check in online, just see if there are any seats in the class you want left and just ugrade right there :D

Looks like the pricing has gone up a wee bit, still... to get a long haul flight upgrade to first at 220 roundtrip... whut!

If you're staying at the hotel we stayed at, it should be a good experience. It was the most friendly place we stayed during our many-stopover trip.
