There's also a good argument for the fact that Jack reads as very, very hungry for approval. For me, the bigger issue there is that when Jack plays, Jack plays hard, and that's a hell of a learning curve for a kid like Ianto, especially when Other Stuff is Going On -- like the end of the world.
I am hoping to at least finish this bingo line this weekend, but we'll see.
