Lisa is the adult child of people LJ people I know are friends with.

She hasn't been seen or heard from since 7/30 in Sacramento.

I hope they find her.

And I hope that when they do, she delivers a swift kick in the teeth to whoever felt moved to comment that a 5'8" woman weighing 160 lbs "looks slimmer". That's a reasonably fit weight for a woman of that height if she''s either big-boned or muscular, and either of those characteristics might have been more useful for identification than "looks slimmer".

I hate to be *that person* but -

Do we know she wants to be found? Is there a reason to think that she's in danger rather than very uninterested in speaking with her parents?

I see the mention of the car - but that's not necessarily enough to go on. If the car was in her parent's name, they could report it stolen if she started refusing to talk to them. I only ask because I know that she either needs to be found or left alone.

And the police are involved. It sounds like someone may need help.

That may turn out not to be the case, which would be unpleasant. Putting the word out to people to help those involve ascertain if she is safe strikes me as the clear lesser potential evil here.
