(no subject)

Got through rehearsal, although was wildly uneven thanks to be looped up on cold meds. Everyone is being really nice to me. It seems the only things I want to consume are orange juice and egg rolls with hot mustard, which is so fucked up. But after I have some more of that, I'm for bed.

I always want egg rolls and orange juice when I have a cold. And spicy (mustard) is actually good for a cold, if you believe in Chinese medicine. No idea why that is. And hi! I forget where I found yr journal, but I am both sorry you're ill and happy to meet you.

! I misplaced my phrases. What I meant to say was--I have no idea why I want egg rolls when I've a cold. I have a little bit of an idea, however, why spicy is good for colds. It's all about temperatures, metaphorically and literally.

Packets of hot mustard. Another reason to miss NYC. Heh.

Hot mustard is good for Sick. Sweat it out and all that.

Extremely vile concoction for Sick: hot water, ginger, minced garlic, honey, and cayenne. Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting. Hold nose and drink what you can. Wince, gack. It works, if you can deal with the short-term awfulness. Don't even talk to me about the aftertaste.

Egg rolls with hot mustard is much better.
