I just saw Tron and it was like a terrible terrible porntastic militaria movie made just for me. I'm going to go write about that on my new blog now.

Meanwhile, check out the new levels of appalling on the Sherlock fanfic community front: http://teleen-fiction.livejournal.com/176208.html

Speaking of the eyes, I'm thinking of organizing a boycott and have already gotten a couple of people to leave and/or not join.

So far, they have shown themselves to be bullies who side with the majority in all things.

I can understand wanting your stories to be seen by as many eyes as possible (queen of cross-posting here!), but given the level of fail and the way they treat their members, it may be time to consider if you prefer quality or quantity? Naturally, it's your decision, but given how upset you still are at how they treated you, it's something to consider to reduce your future anxiety.

I thought of staying because I wanted more recs for my community, but in the end I decided it wasn't worth it to continue supporting them when they treat their members in this fashion.

Just left, myself. No skin off my nose, for the most part - I don't watch the comm (and generally only ever dive into the weekly Make me a Monday or Sunday Recday posts in case I've missed anything), I watch the newsletter, and there's a sherlockbbc on Dreamwidth that I *am* following that seems to be a lot less high-pressure. Also, there is a lot of good Sherlock fic now on the AO3.
