Sadly, our new baby kitten (not even a month old) just fell from a great height and I fear will be going to the vet in the morning. If she makes it through the night. As it is, I will have to cancel my tooth extraction to get her taken care of (I couldn't afford it anyway-antibiotics and the ER for poor are cheaper). So I am tapped right now. I hope her kitty fares better. I will pray for them. And glad to hear ShotKitty is doing well.

Oh, thanks. I have 5 kitties (do to taking in a stray fat cat - who was not fat) and they are all running a respiratory infection. It just would not be right to "fix" one baby at a high cost, when all these others are suffering. Plus, my car is still stuck in the ice.
Now, you know anyone who can advise on how to get cheap spay.neuter help for these others, that I would take up an offer on.
It sounds cruel, I know. But I have to be practical right now. If I can not get hubby his meds, I have no right getting a cat taken care of. (and both matters are breaking my heart).

I am in the middle of nowhere. About 1.5hrs from Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh. If you were to connect those cities with a line to make a triangle, NO WHERE comes up in the middle. Also known as Coshocton County. Fresno, Ohio.
(It' okay, pretty much everyone can find me online - I have my mailing address on my LJ and FB pages).
The problem here is Coshocton *can't* help anyone - there is no money (highest unemployment rate in the state, highest welfare) so no one will work with you on costs. The surrounding counties *won't* help. They don't trust people in this county to make good. Mind you, they have no problem dumping their animals and crime and welfare over here. *is bitter, sorry*.
I did find a cash-upfront vet who will do the cat for $50, males for $35. He's 45mins from here. Otherside of nowhere, and car just can't make that trip to drop 1 day, pick up next. It's all about money, I guess. You need it to make things go.
