I think I'm ill. I've just been exhausted for days. Sometimes this happens, where I'm just EXHAUSTED and then I get the cold symptoms a few days later. I don't know. It's actually worrying me a little, but I tend to worry, so it's probably nothing.

Things I have managed to do:
- watched the first season of SJA (and actually loved it)
- work stuff
- cleaning work space to prepare for boss arrival and also the move to working from home at end of month.
- paid some attention to D&J

Things I must do today:
- send novel chunk to Kali
- write blog post for secret thing
- gather laundry/dry cleaning

Things I need to do in the next 48 hours:
- new boots
- find tops that show off my tattoo
- pack for Gally
- watch last Sherlock episode for paper
- watch S2 and S3 of SJA
- bring in and retrieve laundry/dry cleaning

Things I must do on airplane headed west:
- Sherlock paper draft

Things I must do at Gally above and beyond the obvious and otherwise scheduled:
- Whoniverse chapter draft
- format all D&J stuff we currently have properly

Things I must do on airplane headed east:
- finalize Sherlock draft

I'm thinking beyond that right now, but can't bear to make the list at present. RIght now I just really want a good pair of boots and some awesome shirts.

I really want to go see The Eagle (in part so I can weigh in on the inevitable "no female characters" thing that's going to happen), but I have absolutely zero time for that to be justifiable.

Hope you don't have a cold and get lots of sleep before Gallifrey!

I want to see The Eagle too. The two leads seem totally boring, generic and uncharismatic, especially weighed against seeing Donald Sutherland zing up the trailer for just two seconds. But the costumes and the fighting look fun. My standards are low: I'll watch almost anything that has men in skirts or robes waving swords.

That Airborne stuff does seem to help - Rob commented this afternoon that he felt like he was coming down with a cold, so I downed a glass as a preventative and then handed him a glass of it. It actually tastes good if you use cold water that's been in the fridge.

Donald Sutherland was an amazing, meddling old man.

One of the things I notice about The Eagle is that scanning the IMDB database reveals that a major female character from the book seems to have been excised altogether.

Rest if you can. Lots of fluids, proper nourishment, etc. Sensibleness.

Failing that, we can cover you in blankets or something on Thursday and pray for the healing power of the IN-N-OUT to purify your mortal shell.

SJA is awesome. It's probably my favorite Who series.
