Today was a good day. Of course, we worked on the big Tybalt / Mercutio confrontation, which is probably my favorite thing in Romeo and Juliet anyway and ours is fantastic -- a bit if Quentin Tarantino did West Side Story to trip hop as if done by Nick Cave. Eventually I'll go back to using actual vocabularly to describe things, but this is a short hand that works -- besides, what is art other than encoded language, whether visual, verbal, musical, or what have you?

Doing up the production report now, and then it's on to a Romeo and Juliet free Friday. As you might imagine, that will be rather good for my soul. And I get to see our theater space for the first time on Saturday.

Spoke to my mom yesterday, and because she woke me up I wasn't filtering as much as I usually do, so I babbled at her about Red Curtain Cinema for twenty minutes, something she actually seemed to find moderately interesting (perhaps when the parents finally get a DVD player I can test that theory) and she told me her job is taking her to see The Producers because she won some big company award.

I very very desperately need to schedule hair and makeup for my headshots, but I keep not finding time. I guess on the train ride to the studio tomorrow.
