I'm on break from the theater, having done a run this morning and dealt with the last of the light cue changes and the fact that we're running off a new minidisc player tonight. Oddly, while the sound for the show isn't that complex, even with 11 tracks, and just a few fades, it's definitely the thing that gets me tripped up -- not because it's hard, but because I have to prep it in advance while staying focused on the lights, and it just gets tricky. I certianly no longer feel like the least ambidextrous person I know though.

Bought a Discman today too, because I've really needed a way to make my commuting time my private time, as I haven't really had time for that. It's already made a vast vast improvement in my life.

The news of the world is particularly grim and surreal today, what with the quarantine of the SARS flight, and the current war news. It just staggers me, the things I was able to romanticize back in 1990, reading William Gibson.
