Nov. 27th, 2003 11:09 amI slept way more than I ever intended to last night, laying down for a nap and waking up at 10am. Ooops. That was probably good though.
Heading over to my parents in a bit, and I've been warned in advance that my mother has bought me things I will be expected to try on. I've also been warned that some of it isn't in my size but she bought it anyway in desperate hopes. This fills me with stress, as whether it ifts or not will lead to a discussion about my womanly (or lack there of) figure. Iew iew iew iew yuck! She also apparently bought me a dress for the wedding, which will be interesting, at the very least, and very much appreciated if it works.
An indie movie theater near me is now doing movieoke -- yes, that's right, get up in front of the nice screen with subtitles and act out your favourite scenes from your favourite movies. And as there's a video store attached, you can pretty much choose anything that's on DVD (and hence has subtitles). Do I absolutely positively absolutely want to do this? Oh yes. Praise be that I'm a libra and couldn't make a deicision if I tried. I think it would be a very weird thing -- I mean n one hand, just good dorky fun, on the other hand, movies mean so much to me -- well it would be muddled. I think I'll go, sit in a corner in the bac and watch. And I'll bet money it's lots of guys aspiring to be video store clerks dong shit from the Godfather.
I don't have a lot to say right now, I am tired, and strange, and am annoyed that my parents still haven't bought a DVD player (despite my dad asking for advice on it and swearing to do it one random day like 4 months ago), because he still hasn't seen The Two Towers and I would have brought over the extended edition.
Ah well.
