That episode meant a lot to me. I liked the complexity that they gave Kurt in envying Blaine the spotlight as well as strangling with unrequited love for him. Did you like the moment when Blaine literally dragged Kurt into the spotlight? Kurt stayed true to his movement qualities. He curtsied rather than bowed. For "Raise Your Glass," he delicately quaffed an aperitif.
No, they haven't been building up (yet?) to a growling "yes!" female queer moment, but I've been crazy about the madly conflicted Santana character and the dignity of virginal, het Coach Bieste with her hot lipstick look and her line-dancing life.
