My copy of The Stars We Are is here. Am _so_ happy.

Much Easter candy was sold out when I went to the special easter candy place. THis made me sad, but I do have hand-painted marzipan to send to people now.

Today in rehearsal I proved I can't walk and chew gum at the same time. But we will have post cards in a week, and John brought butter cookies from Sarabeth's. Sarabeth's is a biiiiig childhood thing for me; also, they were bunny shaped.

The Byzantine art exhibit at The Met is a must see, especially for several oddly modern paintings, the books of the time and a _giant_ iron chandelier that loos for all the world like a Rube GOldberg machine for the weighing of souls against wax. Clive Barker needs to see it, so he can write about it. It's a place I myself can't really get to.

Also had dinner at Googies. Which is notable mostly for being called Googies and having fountain drinks of intensely diverse variety.

As tomorrow is both Easter Sunday and my father's birthday and contained in Passover, I have to get up very early, to deal with what will probably be pretty weird.
