Just bought the Wicked album. And am very happy to learn that in the sheet music there will be a version of Defying Gravity rewritten to make sense as a solo song.

I also bought notecards and new fountain pen ink to finally write notes to the cast and crew of Counsellor -- hey, we all needed a rest (that said, considering John was apparently talking up the show backstage at the Tonys (according to Backstage) real glad I am getting off my ass about that. I can't find a converter for the Cross pen that John gave everyone, but that's okay, as I have one for the excellent pen I got from Roadnotes and Balanders some time ago.

Ironically, there's a very loud labor protest outside my window at work.

Also, since my route took me around that way, I got a sandwhich I always used to get when I worked at Poppe Tyson, but it's been years -- soppresata, mozzarella and marinated artichoke hearts.

Life ain't so bad, even with a lot of background anxiety and the near constant dreams I've had about things going wrong while trying to visit people in Los Angeles (none of whom live there in reality). No idea where that's coming from.
