I have finished the book.

Without going into detail or spoiling (which I shall do behind a cut tag tomorrow, when I am lucid) --

I have never ever so wanted to wrap up a character in my arms and make it okay while also knowing there is no one in the world who could ever make it okay for him, and anyone who ever could has long since used, betrayed or disregarded him.

Yes, I am talking about Snape. And yes, most of you will think I'm out of my mind. I _will_ justify this tomorrow. I just really, really fucking hurt for him right now.

And yeah, I cried over all the other stuff in the book too.

What I really love is people who know where I stand with these books coming up to me and saying "Are you okay?" without even mentioning they're talking about the damn books first, because we all know. I love you guys.
I've fallen hopelessly in love with Rome from BPAL. It may be the scent I was looking for from the beginning, and which Severin (which turned to baby powder on my skin in seconds) failed to be.

I have an audition today.

My play, The Slow End, will be at TSI at 8pm on August 31st and September 2nd. Save the dates.

I found the source of the gnats in my room, and I want to hide shrieking in a corner for a few hours. It is resolved though.

AUTHOR: [livejournal.com profile] rm
CHARACTERS/PAIRINGS: Lucius/Narcissa/Severus
RATING: 15+
SPOILERS: Nothing specific, but those who have not gotten past Book 6, Chapter 2 should wait if they want even the slightest justification for the existence of this story. This is set sometime after the war, but who has won is immaterial to this tale.
Author’s notes: written purely for my own amusement and perhaps that of some other fannish sorts. No copyright infringement or offense intended. With thanks to [livejournal.com profile] kalichan, [livejournal.com profile] tsarina and [livejournal.com profile] orien.
ARCHIVING: Please ask, but I'll probably say yes.
FEEDBACK: Early and often if you're so inclined.
