My back is sore from sewing, but I made good progress yesterday and expect more of the same today.

Tomorrow is a horrible background work day, and I'm praying my call isn't too early. It's hard enough to get up at the crack of dawn in teh summer. It's near impossible in teh fall, especially with a warm person in the bed with you. I'm trying not to think about it, I won't know the details until 2.

I hate drawstrings.

But I got it done; Kali will be here in 30, and then we can pin the halves together. Tomorrow is a useless day for me (because I have to be at set at 5am. Do you know what time I have to get up to do that?); tuesday I will do and attach the sleeves, Wednesday I'll sew the halves and Thursday I'll hem.

*shudder*

I'm not transgressive, not strident. I'm just not blonde and have a nose. It's not that interesting.

I am not transgressive. Not like that. I mean, how ca you be transgressive for just looking the way you look?

"In France," people in this business tell me, "you are beautiful. Here...." Yes, well saying it, I suppose, might lead to contamination. All biases, in the end, are about dirt, disease and the threat of the dissolution of our more pure selves.

I suspect these industry people who trail off dumbly like deer half in the road just can't pronounce jolie laide.

I should be thrilled, with the blessings of marketing. However Franch (read, of course, un-American these days) they may be.

BPAL

I'm thinking of starting a BPAL filter. Because I have a comment on a recently received scent that's actually too bizarre to share with any of you who aren't in on the BPAL crack thing.

Who wants into the BPAL filter?
