Today has been aggravating and stressful, but not entirely unsuccessful either. Although it was a day of half as opposed to complete solutions. and everyone I know seems to be similarly beset.

I did get the last of my SAG paperwork in order today (and the shit with FUR straightened out).

And my job _assures_ me that my direct deposit will go through at the crack of dawn on Friday (and that we'll get holiday pay, there was some talk that we wouldn't since the holidays fell on Sundays and I'm glad I didn't have to make a scene about that), meaning that my SAG joining appointment should actually work out just fine, despite many stresses, some even legitimate, to the contrary.

The dude did come to measure for a new window. He was orthodox, and I was glad he didn't see our Heroes of the Torah glasses, although maybe he would have liked them.

And other things are at least in the process of getting solved, which is a relief to me, but dubiously satisfying -- or the other way around, satisfying, but not really a relief.

All in all, for a day that could have been 100% AWFUL, it's really been much much better than that.

Tomorrow is my first rehearsal. Because I have a stage manager and have worked with the cast before in various capacities, I don't have to worry about "what I can do to see like a director" I can jsut be myself, and get the work done.

Deadlines at work are very tight, so the next ten days or so are going to be an aggravation, but money is sweet, and so is the End of Stress. which by the way, when someone who thrives on being busy busy busy says they're possibly more stressed out than they can handle. Don't say, "you like that!" Realize they are seriously in a bad way and ofer perspective or something.
Anyone out there have the Heavy Bauhaus font on their computer and is willing to do me a quick favor?
