Waiting to hear the results of last night's call back, although I don't have a good feeling about it, which has never meant much.

Someone is casting muscians for Marat/Sade. I only note this as Marat/Sade features prominently in Steve Erickson's universe, and I should go see this when it goes up.

Five more articles accepted at Associated Content that should get published over the next several days. I like this revenue stream.

Crazy tired crazy tired crazy.

Oh, and I did write a nasty letter to the NYT.
Okay, my AC article on coming out to your parents it up:
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/30172/advice_on_coming_out_to_your_parents.html (again, page views affect my compensation, but I'm doing really well so far, and at least I got some cash out of this grief).

Meanwhile, at work, I just coded an article about how attractive people, all other things being equal, are assumed to be better workplace performers and overestimate their abilities. In time, when other team members realize this, they begin to slack off. I'm interested in this, mainly, because I tend to get really tangled up in issues of attractiveness and achievement in my fiction (fannish and orig), and I need to sit in the dark and think about this in regard to several characters at hand.

ETA:
And two Australia articles are up --

And a thing I don't like so much that I did on creating acting resumes:

How big a thing this is in my world will be lost on most of you, but the limeade is back.

Now I just have to hope my stomach can deal with it.
I really must get around to making a post about this ongoing saga:
    http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/02/books/02auth.html

It's gotten deeply under my skin for all sorts of reasons beyond the obvious. Mostly to do with the packaging and marketing of authors, youth and books about nothing in particular, but also to do with the fact that everyone is some degree of thief, some are just graceless.
