Can someone tell me what the deal is, not just with Wiccans, but also with all sorts of generally not that fluffy Pagans, and the gratuitous rhyming in spells? Why do we think that works? I mean, i get rhythm, specificty, musicality, and making shit easier to remember, but COME ON. Say what you will about Crowley, but among other things, you've got to give him that he's not a gratuitous, or Hallmark-style rhymer.

Yes, we're going to dress up and be geeks and scare the small children, why do you ask? It occurs to me, that while maybe all nerds can say this, I can particularly say the following: do you really think I'd be as inclined to do this shit if I didn't look the way I do? If it weren't for HP, I'd be a lot more bitter about the fact that my hair actually looks best in the same, stupid, fucking haircut I've always returned to, SINCE I WAS EIGHT.

Amusingly, I've been starting to get comments on some articles from people I don't know, mainly quasi-literate teens who really really want to know if my advice works because they've always dreamed of acting. It makes me sad.

Planning to write at least 20 pieces this weekend. Some travel, some acting, lots of film and book stuff; I think. We'll see. I still have to post my topic to-do list here.

So, I can't eat fat. Bad things happen. So what fat-free foods do you all recommend?

I'll take recipes and store-product ideas. And yes, tuna and turkey are my life. Woe.
