Jun. 28th, 2006 09:25 amOkay, the alarm actually woke me up today, so that's progress. The lack of a snooze function is a real problem though. It never occured to me to investigate alarm functions when buying a new phone.
I was released from one of the projects I was called about for tomorrow, and it seems like the other one is shoooting today (when I am not available) so I suspect I am not doing film work tomorrow, which is a bummer as things are still wonky with money at the Germans, although as per ever they say RSN. Luckily, the steady stream of money from other sources continues to make things manageable. I would be much happier to have work on a set Thursday and/or friday though.
Got a reminder yesterday (and just in email!) of my exasperation with a given community and its unwillingness to Read the Damn Directions. That was sort of funny. I figure if I expose myself to that sort of idiocy about once a week, my sheer irritation will get the aCE-based orig fic done in no time at all.
Going away this weekend to sew. And while I should work on harder things, I think I want to work on a waistcoat (or two!) because I need them not just for my Regency Ball outfit, but for my wardrobe in general.
I dreamed I was in a Garnier Fructis subway billboard ad, cast by my old, insane, marketing boss from About.com. I have NO idea what that was about.
Cutting off the dead ends of my hair was a good idea, but it's _exactly_ the length it was when I was little right now and it's making me crazy. Hopefully the heat and such will make it grow really fast. I figure in even a week I'll be happier with it. Most importantly, this means I won't need to be cutting it right before events for which I do want it a tad longer (read: JKR reading and Regency Ball).
And I've submitted myself to audition again for somoene I never get anywhere with, solely because he's doing an all-female Romeo & Juliet, and I want to play Tybalt. As a boy, thank you. Like a lot.
